Mr. Haim Perski, Co-Founder & CEO
Mr. Perski brings with him extensive experience in working with PC manufacturers (OEMs) and in developing, delivering and integrating input devices within mobile PCs.
Prior to founding PointGrab, Mr. Perski was VP R&D and CTO of N-trig Ltd., a leading provider of digitizers and touch screens to major laptop manufacturers. Having joined N-trig at an early stage, Mr. Perski took the company’s products through the entire development cycle, from conception to production. He then went on to manage approximately 45 employees and successfully integrated N-trig’s device into a Tier 1 laptop manufacturer.
Before N-trig, Mr. Perski led a development team of 30 engineers at BVR LTD (NASDAQ BVRS), providers of real-time simulation and monitoring systems. Prior to that, he led a software team at Scidel Ltd., where he was responsible for Computer Vision algorithms for real-time environments.
Mr. Perski holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University (cum laude).
Mr. Amir Kaplan, Co-Founder, Vice President R&D
Mr. Kaplan brings to PointGrab over 20 years of experience as both a leader and a manager of various development teams in the fields of computer vision, image processing and input devices. Before founding PointGrab, Mr. Kaplan led a development team of over 10 engineers at N-trig Ltd., where he focused on the development of innovative input devices for surface computing systems.
Prior to N-trig, Mr. Kaplan led the Software Group at 3DV Systems, a provider of 3D cameras, where he was responsible for the development of real-time image processing systems. Before joining 3DV, Mr. Kaplan led an algorithm team at Scidel Ltd., where he focused on the development of real-time computer vision algorithms. Prior to Scidel, Mr. Kaplan worked for approximately ten years at Scitex Ltd. where he managed various software teams responsible for developing image processing applications for the pre-press industry.
Mr. Kaplan holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science and an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Yoav Hoshen, Senior Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Hoshen has over 14 years of diverse international business experience in the high-tech industry, including expertise in sales, business development, strategy, marketing, product marketing, entrepreneurship and investments.
Prior to joining PointGrab, Mr. Hoshen was VP Business Development & Sales of EPOS Technologies, a leading provider of advanced digital positioning technologies for the PC environment. Before EPOS, Mr. Hoshen served as Marketing Director of the largest business unit of Comverse Technology, a world leader in multimedia telecommunications applications. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hoshen was Director of Business Development Marketing at Orsus Solutions and Product Manager of ICQ (acquired by AOL).
Mr. Hoshen holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Eran Eilat, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Eilat has over seven years of proven algorithm development experience for computer vision and machine learning real time systems.
Before joining PointGrab, Mr. Eilat led the algorithm team at Omek Interactive, developing skeleton tracking algorithms for 3D cameras. Before that, Mr. Eilat led the 2D algorithm development at IDT video technologies.
Mr. Eilat holds a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from Ben Gurion University, and is currently completing his M.Sc in Electro Optics engineering.
Mr. Assaf Gad, Vice President Marketing and Product
Mr. Gad has over 12 years of experience in the field of product management, marketing and user experience, with in-depth focus on consumer products.
Before joining PointGrab, Mr. Gad was leading the product management and marketing OEM departments at Powermat Technologies, a leader provider of wireless power solutions for consumer electronics products. Prior to Powermat, Mr. Gad was heading the product management at Modu Mobile. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gad served as Head of Product Management at Telmap Ltd. (acquired by Intel), a leading provider of location based services.
His past roles include several development positions in mobile and Internet start-ups and a research assistance position of Prof. Schocken Shimon and Prof. Nisan Noam at The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
Mr. Gad holds BSc. in Computer Science from The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
