Head of Computer Vision

Our offices are in Kfar Saba, but we are hybrid and most days you can work from wherever you wish.

JOB Description

The task at hand is to establish a pipeline for continuous design, training, and evaluation of new models for people/object detection and tracking and further deployment of these models to the edge device. You will be working in a team of talented algorithm engineers solving problems together as well as leading projects on your own, developing new features, bringing a new perspective to the product. Technologies: Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining machine learning / deep learning models and integrating them with classic computer vision methodologies

• Data crunching and analyzing of large datasets, to produce insights for both algorithmic advancements and product development

• Work with data engineers to scope the data sets and annotation needed

• Optimize ML/DL models for low-end devices

Requirements:

• BS.c. or MS.c. in Computer Science, Data Science, ML or in related fields preferred with strong technical knowledge and experience in computer vision

• At least 5 years of experience in computer vision and/or deep learning for object detection and tracking along with semantic or instance segmentation either in academic or industrial domain.

• Proficiency in Python and related packages like numpy, scikit-learn, opencv as well as ML frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras

• Experience in different model optimization techniques for deploying on low-end edge devices

• A successful record of developed models with clear benchmarks

• Exposure to IoT technology

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively communicating with the team and ability to present information to both technical and nontechnical teams

 

It would be great if you have:

• Experience with edge computing principles and architecture preferably for NVIDIA Jetson devices and Raspberry Pi.

• Experience with C++ and system-level engineering

• Experience with classical computer-vision

• Experience in real-time/embedded systems or performance optimization

• Interest in patents and research papers

You are an experienced and creative Manager with technical background and experience in leading excellent teams to providing great support and professional services to global customers. You  ombine management skills and creativity, Hands-On Enthusiast as well as a Technical Leader with proven leadership and team building skills. You are hungry, adopt “Can do” approach, thorough,  isionary, Excellent English, team player, leads by example, strong execution skills. You have  xperience in both HW and SW and know something about Machine Learning, Cloud and computer  vision.

Where are you located?

To be honest – we assume you can work from anywhere, so it is not very important. However, it will be a great advantage if you are in Israel, UK, or US.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Onboarding: create a smooth and easy on-boarding experience for our clients
• Build relationships with assigned customers, help them with issues, providing positive,
customer-centric attitude and proactive strategy with their assigned customer accounts
• Serve as escalation point and an Executive Sponsor for all matters relative to Customer
Support
• Drive revenue growth through increased product adoption and increased usage
• Work closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience and
take care of all customer issues
• Be a customer advocate while capturing customer feedback and reporting requests to
Product Management and Development
• Innovation – work with the product to understand the needs of our clients
• Efficiently manage team and time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer
satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth

Requirements:

Technical Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience as a Team
Leader/Director of Customer Success/Professional Service/Support
• Combine strong technical skills and Business approach
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent
presentation skills
• Confident, Service oriented, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player
• Experience working with senior and executive level customer contacts
• Demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in fast-paced environment
• Multi-Disciplinary company background
• Excellent multitasking and project management skills
• Well-organized, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Fluent in English

Preference will be given to those with:

• Professional experience with Hardware/IoT products
• Professional experience with cloud offerings is a plus (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Platform etc.)
• Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python Perl, Ruby, C#,
and/or PHP a plus but not a requirement
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer etc. is an
advantage.
